Terms of service
Last updated: 17 October 2026
These terms are the conditions for using iaclips at iaclips.ai. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use iaclips.
Who we are
iaclips is a service operated by an individual. You can reach us at hola@iaclips.ai.
The service
iaclips turns long episodes (podcasts, interviews, talks) into vertical clips. It’s a new service and still improving: it may change, have bugs, or be unavailable for a while. We do our best to keep it working well, but we can’t promise it will always be available or that every clip will come out the way you expect.
Plans and credits
- Each plan gives you credits: minutes of video you can process, counted to the second. An episode uses as many minutes as it lasts (or as the part you choose to process): they’re set aside when processing starts and used once it produces clips. If an episode fails or produces no clips, its minutes are given back.
- Free plan: 30 minutes of video every 30 days, counted from when you signed up, with one episode of up to 30 minutes at a time. Free minutes don’t carry over to the next 30 days. There’s one free plan per person: we may not give free minutes to accounts created from the same device or network as another account (see the privacy policy).
- Paid plans (the prices and minutes are on our home page): a subscription paid monthly or yearly, in advance. Each payment adds that period’s minutes (a yearly plan adds the whole year’s at once), and they can be used until one month after the period they were paid for ends. Minutes left after that expire.
- Changing plans: moving to a bigger plan takes effect right away. You pay the difference for the rest of the current period, and get the difference in minutes for the same part of the period. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect when the current period ends.
Payments, renewal and cancellation
- Payments are handled by Stripe, on its own payment page. We never see or store your card number.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, and we charge the payment method you gave us, until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from your account’s billing page. The plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and no further payments are taken. Minutes you’ve already been given stay usable until they expire.
- Prices and taxes: prices are in US dollars and don’t include taxes. Any taxes, duties or bank and currency-conversion fees that apply where you live are your responsibility, unless we’re required to charge them, in which case they’re shown before you pay.
- Price changes: if we change a plan’s price, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before. The new price applies from your next renewal after that, and you can cancel before then.
Refunds
If you ask within 7 days of a payment and haven’t used any of the minutes that payment gave you, we’ll refund that payment in full. Write to hola@iaclips.ai from your account’s email address. Otherwise payments aren’t refundable, except where the law of your country says they must be. Minutes given back for a failed episode aren’t a refund: they return to your balance.
Your account
- You sign in with your Google account. We need your email address to identify you; see the privacy policy.
- One account per person. Creating extra accounts to get more free minutes isn’t allowed.
- You’re responsible for what happens with your account. If you think someone else is using it, let us know.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use iaclips.
Your content
- What you upload stays yours: the videos, the links you give us, and the clips made from them.
- Before each episode is processed, you confirm that the content is yours or that you have the right to use it. That includes YouTube videos you send us as a link: only send videos you have the right to cut and publish.
- You give us permission to store, process and show your content to you, only to provide the service: transcribing it, picking the stories, cutting and rendering the clips, and saving your changes. What you do with your clips (for example, moving where a clip starts, or deleting one and telling us why) helps us cut better, and we use it for that.
- We never publish anything of yours without your permission.
- To do this we use outside providers (transcription, AI models, cloud), who receive only what they need for their part of the work. More in the privacy policy.
What you can’t do
- Upload illegal content, or content that infringes other people’s rights (copyright, likeness, privacy).
- Try to get into other people’s accounts or data, or get around the service’s limits (including the free plan’s).
- Use iaclips in a way that overloads or harms it, for example with mass automated uploads.
If someone tells us that content infringes their rights, or we see use like this, we may remove that content or suspend the account. Where we can, we’ll tell you first.
The clips
Transcripts, captions, titles and cuts are made by an automated system and can contain mistakes. Check each clip before you publish it; what you publish, and where, is your decision and your responsibility.
Stopping
You can stop using iaclips whenever you want: cancel your plan, and ask us to delete your data (how is in the privacy policy). We may also shut the service down; if we do, we’ll give you notice so you can download your clips.
Liability
iaclips is provided “as is”, without warranties, to the extent the law allows. We aren’t liable for indirect losses, or for what happens with clips you publish. Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law.
Changes to these terms
If we change anything important, we’ll tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. If you keep using iaclips after that, you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, and any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that state. This doesn’t take away any rights the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
